I can not believe how under rated this masterpiece is! One of my favorites. This song is more then likely about HammerFall themselves. But i also like to think its about every one in Heavy Metal alone. This is very touching for a death metal song in my opinion, its prety self explaining too. Its about a Viking who is about to die in battle, but every thing seems in slow motion to him. In a way it reminds me of Soldiers from all ages, when i listen to this song i think about not onley Vikings in battle, But soldiers from like WW2. Vietnam, Iraq. Nightwish is a very powerfull but complicating band to figure out, Their lyrics are Powerfull as they are wise lol. I personaly think the song is about the Hobbit, Because for some reason J.R.R. Tolkien is very famous in Scandenavia. I mean come one Amon Amarth (The viking death metal band) Is an Alternate name for Mount Doom. But some of the lyrics dont seem to remind me of the Hobbit. Its a very confusing song and powerfull one indeed. Is it possible that the song is about how we are destroying the earth?
