I can relate to this song very well. It's such a sad song. The first time I heard it I didn't listen closely enough to the lyrics, and didn't really get the meaning. But then the second time it hit me.. hard. |

I think "Did you get that coat from the principal?" means she probably has a poor family, and maybe they can't afford clothes for her. I really don't know what it means. That's just my opinion. "Did you get that bruise on the bus?" Obviously means she's being bullied. |
