This is the most beautiful and romantic songs i have ever heard. This was the first song that i had dedicated to my girlf friend. How many times have each of us felt this way..we walk into a room full of people and we see that one persona t the end of the room and you just cant take your eyes off that person.. the chatter and the noise around you doesnt bother you. you loose track of time you dont know what to say and how to say to that person. You just mumble some stuff in front of that person and feel stupid. this song depicts all those feelings very well.. thumbs up to lifehouse for producing such a beauty |

According to me this song is not what you are making it out to be. Ben harper himself says that this is a gospel. So my version goes like this. the guy is dead. He is waiting for the past life to begin. he has to get to the gates of heaven. but he doesnt want to go there alone. He wants his angel to fly him there. he wants to feel safe and secure and he believes that with his angel holding his hands he will feel that way. So speak kind to a stranger Cause you'll never know It just might be an angel come Knockin' at your door In these lines he is kinda preaching..afterlife awareness hits him and he tells us to be good and kind. Other than this i think that if u want to look deeper into this song then yeah the interpretation about THE ONE comes in handy. |
