This song, to me, is about a guy who is crazy about a girl but AWFUL at expressing his feelings. So he lashes out at her, gets angry & says things he really doesn't mean & then feels terrible for it. He's trying to make her understand that it's hard for him to express his feelings about her, & he's so sorry that he's hurt her with his anger, but it's the only emotion he can express. I'll always love this song, though. During a break (well, it was only 3 days) he heard this song on his way home & it caused him to call me crying & begging me to take him back. That was years ago & now we're gonna be married =] THANK YOU, BOSTON!!! |
