One of my favorite songs. But I've got a few lyric corrections: "You know I'm the one who set the sun Just state your sweetest to the sun" "And at night when you're sleeping 'Cause everyone's dreaming We are under the same moon" "You flung my mind around so fast Do you recall the things I asked? You sit, been there Baby, I'll be there" And also, when they sing "She said, 'I'll follow you to L.A.'", they also whisper "We can see you scream your secrets to the stars" after every line, and ending with "To the stars" after "To L.A., yeah". So, that's basically all of the corrections. Except when "And I haven't called you up and pulled you" is sung, both of the "you" sound like "to", but "you" sounds more correct in context. Anyway, great song! |

| A great song, in my opinion. But, has anyone else noticed that when Lil Wayne says "She cold, overfreeze" it sounds a bit like he's saying "She caught on an overfreeze" instead? It may just be me, as the first one sounds right, too, but the way I hear it seems right, as well. I would like to hear others' opinions on this. | |

I agree with smilesej about the interpretation. It seems that the singer left the one he loved to go to another place (Los Angeles), and he started to miss her, so he decides to return back to her. "I'm West Coast bound for a brand new sound Looking hard for the City of Angels I lost my maps There's no turning back All I see is a city of strangers Someone here make me believe" He left to look for Los Angeles, and said that there's no turning back to return to the one he left. And now he's just walking with people he doesn't know and wants someone to make him believe he made the right choice. "I'm ready to go I think you already know We can save this Los Angeles I'm holding my ground Before the streets take me down I can shake this Los Angeles" He's trying to forget what he did (I can shake this, Los Angeles) and that he can fix what he did by starting his new life there and not returning (We can save this, Los Angeles. I'm holding my ground, before the streets take me down). "I'm breaking, I'm fading Waiting for you And with the radio on Until the feeling is gone I will miss this Los Angeles" He's been trying to forget, but he's starting to want her back (I'm breaking, I'm fading) and is subconsciously hoping that she would come to him (Waiting for you). Now he's trying to ignore the feeling (And with the radio on, until the feeling is gone), but still misses being with her (I will miss this, Los Angeles). "Sleepless nights I look to the right All I see is a pillow that's lonely Dream of you saving me on cue Wishing that you were laying beside me All that's left is to believe" Now he really realizes his mistake, and he can't sleep because he misses her presence beside him (Sleepless nights, I look to the right, all I see is a pillow that's lonely). He still wishes she would come meet him in Los Angeles so they can be together again (Dream of you saving me on cue, wishing that you were laying beside me). "I'm ready to go I think you already know We can save this Los Angeles I'm holding my ground Before the streets take me down I can shake this Los Angeles I'm breaking, I'm fading Waiting for you And with the radio on Until the feeling is gone I will miss this Los Angeles I'm going home" Same thing as with the first verse, but he now decides he's going to return home. "Less talk Less talk and more walk Less talk Less talk and more Less talk Less talk and more walk" He's telling himself to stop talking about her coming to him, and is saying that he needs to take his own action to return to her. "'Cause I'm ready to go I think you already know We can save this Los Angeles" He's basically saying that he's ready to go now and that he can save his relationship by leaving Los Angeles. "I'm ready to go I think you already know We can save this Los Angeles I'm holding my ground Before the streets take me down I can shake this Los Angeles I'm breaking, I'm fading Waiting for you And with the radio on Until the feeling is gone I will miss this Los Angeles I will miss you, Los Angeles" He finally leaves Los Angeles to return, and is saying that while he is returning to his lover, he will still miss being in Los Angeles. This is my interpretation of it all. Tell me what you think. |

| I understand how it could possibly relate to the In-N-Out restaurant chain, as the name seems to imply (along with it being about Los Angeles), but most of the song seems to have nothing to do with In-N-Out. And with one of the verses (Sleepless nights, I look to the right, all I see is a pillow that's lonely, etc.) seems to be talking about a significant other, not a restaurant. It could be a tribute, like you suggested, but it also seems to have another meaning, in my opinion. That's just what I think. | |

| To me, when I listen to the song, the way he sings it makes me think he is lying about missing her. But when I see the end of the music video, it looks as if the two get back together again, so it could be about lying about everything else. I guess it's up to yourself to decide. | |

| I understand where you're going with all of this, but you may have took it for a deeper meaning than what it is. I do believe it's about how he's trying to cope with losing his girl and that he couldn't handle losing her. I'm not saying you're absolutely wrong, as that could possibly be a deeper meaning that the writer planed to use, but it seems like it's a bit TOO deep to really work, and the other theories seems a bit more probable. Good interpretation, though. | |

A great song, in my opinion. But that may be because I can really relate to it. The song is pretty self explanatory: The two are always so far apart, and he only wishes to be with his girl. And the first part of the chorus (This is our night, the look in your eyes, etc.) shows that the two are finally together, either after being apart for so long, or for the first time (You've heard of relations off of the internet, so that's a possibility in my mind), so he wants to make it the best night he can make it. One of my favorite songs. |

| After watching the music video, it seems to me that he had enjoyed his past life, but he eventually left his wife to live a different life with someone else. He was hoping seeing him will give her hell, while proving that his new life is better without her. But he secretly misses his ex, and that he's lying that his new life is better than the old one, as it really isn't. The video seems to show both parts of his life, and the end shows where he left his old wife, and possibly a time where he returns back to her after all they have been through. | |
| We the Kings – Feel Good Inc. Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| We the Kings actually attempted a cover version of Gorillaz? In my opinion, while they are a good band and I enjoy the majority of their music, this wasn't a very good attempt. This the the first time I've heard We the Kings try to use rap in their music, and it didn't work out well for them. I hope they continue to make music for themselves, and not try cover versions. Sorry, We the Kings, but this didn't turned out exactly as you had hoped, in my opinion. Keep up the good work on your own music, though. | |
