| Seems from the title it's suggesting Alice (in wonderland) was high. | |

| Sounds to me like it's directed at the person in the relationship who pretends to take all the shit like... 'oh it's fine' 'oh don't worry about it' then when it comes to an argument they bring all that shit up. Overly touchy and pretending like they're some sort of martyr in the relationship. | |

Comparing life to homosexual sex 'Life will pound away where the light don't shine, son. Take it like a man. Suck it up, son of mine.' Maybe comparing it to Prison Sex? |

| Puscifer – The Rapture (Fear Is A Mind Killa Mix) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| To me, this sounds like Maynard's hatred to a religious leader, perhaps a higher up like the pope, or a cult leader etc. Or perhaps the personification of Christianity itself. Or it could be the perspective of a Christian towards another religion... Oddly it fits perfectly to the storyline of the new Dexter series from Dexter's perspective towards DDK. | |

To me, this song is quite simple. The girl got pregnant, and he wanted it, but she wanted to abort it. In the first verse or so it tells the story of him sort of.. talking to her. Clearly she was convinced that god would hate the idea of an baby being born into an unmarried couple, but he tries to calm her down,'And I don't care what they say, if what you need is your faith, Then take a look at my face and know' (convincing), he also pursuades her that god would not deny (them into heaven perhaps?)lovers etc. It continues showing their opinions of life as it is with her pregnant, 'Life has gone this way', 'So we made away with the mistake we made', then 'but she was just a picture in a photograph', she wasn't all there, she was distant because of her doubts. Then finally her doubts get the best of her, her religion causes her to abort the baby, in this part I believe it is all strictly metaphorical, the babies 'Room' being her womb. She says bye to the baby, and leaves the poor narrator in horror over his child's death. Then he gets angry, claiming he'd destroy the god that caused these beliefs. He crushes her belief in her being 'born again' (second chance after the abortion) by bashing her saying she'll be 'worn again' - It'll all happen again. To analyse the use of the 'rapture' parts, I believe this is him saying 'well this is all well and good, but when this rapture will fall to pieces, this plan of yours that aborting it will save you will fall apart. And he told her to instead of putting her faith in religion, put her faith in HIM. Find in him the room to breathe when she's in a tough situation, or when she's upset. 'Find in me room to breathe' equals use me when your in need. 'Sinful things are suffering', the 'sinful things' he speaks of is the baby as it was supposedly 'sinful' and its suffering.. perhaps? That one is a shot in the dark. Then finally the last verse is somewhat self explanatory from the rest of this explanation, it's really just the evidence behind my theory. |
