Big boi said that there wasn't going to be rap on the album. He's just helping with production, an they were using his studio. Its only going to be a few songs, i think three is the number. and who knows what songs will actually make it to the cd. either way im excited to hear them, and he said that they were "funky". i doubt he'll do vocals, especially because nothign has been released saying he was guest appearing on the album. Production accounts for a lot of different things, and even though producers have some control over creativity or the sound, its very rare a producer actually plays on the record. my interpretation: theres just things you can't change or control and you'll have to learn to accept. you may not understand everything or everyone, but thats ok. everyone has flaws and everyone has something special about them. you can be your own miracle, but you have to be willing to live, grow and move on. you're alawys going to be the same person you are now and have always been. but to grow and better yourself you're gonna have to perform hard tasks, not really parting the sea or any other mythical miracles, but things that are special and difficult for you that help you grow. i love their beautiful insight. one of the many bands that can make me feel better about life, no matter how bad i may feel. light chasers is another incredible album by some incredibly thoughtful people. |

a beautiful song about the moods, emotions and personalities we all contain. in a lot of ways it reminds me of buddihst philosophy of being blinded by anger, self pity, or saddness and not being able to think clearly. its like when you're so pissed off that you can't think or you might over react but if you calm down you can be more understanding and think with a clear mindstream. theres a fight at the party in your head theres a fight for control at the party in your head also reminds me of how influenced we are by other people and how everyone has a bit of other people in them. no matter how much you may be against your parents or peers you always have peices of them in your own personality. i love cloud cult so much. |

I feel like darly feels he pushed her away, and in many ways was very negative in the relationship, and still holds on to the relationship in a negative way, by being so caught up in it and so depended on it. at the same time the relationship is over, and he obsesses over her but he sees her as he commonly refers to girls, as a whore. this is obvious in some of the lyrics. and maybe him can mean multiples, but obviously a relationship isn't working with three people. he might still be seeing her but is just upset that they are no longer together. he relates to her new relationships as watching a foreign porn at a peepshow. he sees it as foreign because he feels that he doesn't know her. in many relationships we dont get to really know the person. you don't know of all the dirty things they do or have done, because a lot of times we hide this side of us or we put up a front. he feels he doesn't know her at all. in some of the lyrics tho i may be taking it wrong, maybe he wasn't pushing her to love another person but her actions and "selling" herself around has pushed him to sleep with random girls or try to cling onto a new relation ship. the picture reminds him of the kiss which gives him the feeling of mourning, and guilt, hatred and nostalgia, all of these feelings are killing him inside. represented by a bullet. a lot of things are my perception, and how i hear the song. the song is brilliantly written of course. but this is the kind of stuff we should be talking about, theres glassjaw forums where you can talk about how excited you are about them playing with trustcompany or how head automatica sucks. with such poetic lyrics as this, many things are up to interpretation. |
