I think this song may be written in the women's perspective. Things like the line "Do you still want me?" suggests that shes asking if he still wants her knowing she may not be able to bear children. And, in the chorus "If you have to leave", suggests that she doesn't blame him if he wanted to leave. And, I do think "Annie" may refer to Anthony. But, I am glad to say that Anthony and his wife now have a son named James. |

Sounds like "spend my cold life" Because, there is definately a C sound in there, so it can't be anything with "Whole" And, with that said, it makes the most sense going along with the rest of the chorus. And, what I think the song is about? Its about someone who has been down on their luck for a long while, and another person comes along and changes that. So, now this someone has hope, and "The future is their's to claim" Also, reading the lyrics again. It could mean two people have been in a relationship that hasn't been working, and one of them has finally decided to do something about it, and make it better. Either way, I think its about having hope and looking towards the future, no matter how bad things in the past have been. |

This part "The girl in my eyes The girl you cant even see Ya the girl I'm waking, waking up" Sounds kinda like: "The goal that you're in my eyes. The goal that you can't even see The goal, I'm waking up" Just what I hear. AND, "They come forth AT night" "I can't keep DRAGGING this down" "One GOAL is destroying this moment" This part: "Well I cant get better of ???" I think he might be saying "I can't get better, I'm stoned." Might be wrong about all of this, its just what I hear. |
