hello, it been so long since anyone has said anything, and im not sure if anymore will be said, I love this song, and i have seen a few different lyrics on the internet. I like the way it switchs its point of view, for example "Here's another pity There's another chance You tried to learn a lesson But you can't" It is like he is talking about someone else or the human race as a whole , as he says "you" then is switchs "If we could burn a city In futures and in past Without a change our lives will never last We're going fast" it is now "we" it like he is saying we are all human, if the world is a mess, its all our mess. The human race is going fast, maybe too fast but I think we (humans) always have, we just live in the day and age which make everything seem so much faster, I like is as it says that we all need help, which is so true, we all need help from time to time, and im sure there are many of us would would like to change the weather, ( I think this means what we are doing as a race, not the weather) but can one person really change everything?? but if we cant change the weather, we need help, and the best part for me, is a man saying to a person he loves, if the world comes down, ( if every ends, for what ever reason,) I will be there with you untill the end. This is just my take on the song, no one is right or wrong, we all see and hear different things when we listen to songs. mightysix |

| Hello, im new here, ( on the whole site) like ixithegreat said, I heard it was from a fathers point of view . A father lost there child, which must be one of the worist losses a father can have. but what ever the true meaning is, or if it is just " A loss" it is a great song, which is sung so wonderfully ( sorry bout my bad spelling) it is just a great song. | |
