I am still mystified is it about lost love or loss/break of mother daugther bond in some way...It says "all flowers that you planted, mama...then living with your baby was hard, but willing to give it another try..." not sure. I thought it is about lost love at first, not sure now would like to know what is it really about... She is amazingly beautiful just stunning and this song and music video with it with her tear running while she is singing makes you to connect to her pain and connect to your own pain as if shared by someone sincere and not performing, real experience. |

Fine observation we never know who someone is - so true, someone can be old or young happy or sad...if we would just notice them hear them, see them seek them and be KIND to them...., and touching others lives...in the ways we do not realize...so true...made me think of the people who I met for some reason and short times segments of life were insignificant and short time meetings and what was said...left a big imprint and snap shots in memory and I remember the words or advice or weather that day... So many people are rude and selfish in the world why can not we just be KIND to each other at least Most of the time?...the answer is in the song title... |

Great comments everyone... I typed :"People are Crazy" in a search brower, and to my surprise someone wrote a song with this title sentence...what a great story and the meaning is so deep that I did not at first understand that the barely known guy is the young man who became rich, however wikipedia narration suggested it...it was not my initial thought...since the song does not directly say that. What a powerful statement and how true...sometime a stranger with a few words can uplift our spirit with taking the time to listen with genuine care for a few minutes or someone's smile or a kind word said in the right moment can mean a world to receipient of that kindness, leaving the giver unsuspecting of the impact (ever had a rough day and someone just took a minute to smile or say something kind to you), yet lifechanging experience that just in this song.... ( happily ending )went both ways....teaching us not a lesson of a quick wealth, but a lesson in human spirit: unpredictable and appreciating little things that may not seem like a big deal to others, routine or meaningless at the first glance...-but for someone else meant a world in that moment. Old man was right: G-d is great, beer is good and the People Are Crazy....(which can mean endearing crazy and directly crazy (rude, rough, inconsiderate and beyond)at the same time....- again proving the same point). Great song lyrics...writer is brilliant brilliant...and the people are...Crazy. |
