This song reminds me of seeing my ex boyfriend of about two years kiss another girl not long after we broke up. I went somewhere, and felt like I was going to be okay seeing him for once.. and then I saw that. My imagination would not leave me alone, and all I could see in my head was them going to the bed we had gone to so many times before. He said it was nothing, just a dumb drunken kiss, but to me it felt like so much more. This song seems to be about a similar experience. A guy sees a past lover kiss someone else, and his imagination runs wild. It is a terrible, stomach-dropping, heart-wrenching feeling. |
