ReVamp – Million Lyrics 15 years ago
In my opinion, this song is about your dreams and the path you are meant to take in life. Even though you have million choices, that will take to million different lifetimes, you will end up chosing the right one, but all the experience you have, through the crossing of those paths will mark you forever, and make you someone new.

ReVamp – Here's My Hell Lyrics 15 years ago
With all the dark feelings people gather around through dark episodes of life and painful choices, these feelings and emotions create a twist inside the person heart, creating their very personal hell: a mix of passionate, horrifying, secret and vicious emotions. For that reasons, Floor assumes the role of a character than has this issue. It tries to avoid seeing the out world as it is, or feel for any other people, not to provoke any more pain. Still, to avoid its friends to know what's going on, she smiles and fakes, trying to create a façade that all is normal, and all is well, even though she feels a tormenting fire burning within. George Oosthoek gives more pain and frustration to this amazing song through his grunts, displaying the horrifying and controversial feelings of Floor's inner hell. However, Floor is decided to fight this hell, and solve her inner problems, by facing her demons.

ReVamp – Head Up High Lyrics 15 years ago
"Head Up High" induces three different feelings in me: some sort of an abusive relationship, where Floor is the abusive lover, or else, some sort of murdering, or appealing to someone's resistance.

ReVamp – Fast Forward Lyrics 15 years ago
Self-explanatory. The character has, possibly, a bad past, and the present makes him/her recall that past. For that reason, he/she wants the time to fast forward, to the future, not just for curiosity, but for the need of a guiding light, of hope.

ReVamp – Disgraced Lyrics 15 years ago
This songs touches not just the theme of sickness, as all the other songs of this series do, but focuses on another theme: Euthanasia.
The character Floor represents is someone that is incapacitated: his/her brain is not functioning, and cannot transmit orders to the body, though that person feels everything around he/she. Than, the same idea of death as a release to the pain is connected to this song.

ReVamp – Disdain Lyrics 15 years ago
Being part of the "In Sickness 'Till Death Do Us Part" series, "Disdain" is linked with the other songs in the theme of sickness. This time, how people around a seriously ill person react to the potential lost: wrath, misery, hatred, scorn. Here, Speed and Floor represent that same character, someone who knows a seriously ill person, whose life's threatned by his/her decease. We don't know if it's someone from the ill person's family, or a lover, but seems to be close enough to suffer a lot from the all situation.

ReVamp – Break Lyrics 15 years ago
As far as I understand through Break's lyrics, it refers to the end of After Forever, and the suffering she experienced with it, but also her will to set free and go on with her career. This song might even be about Sander and his role in the death of A.F.
Evidences for this statements are:
"Yes, I'm hurt more than I'll show" Floor showed a positive atitude when After Forever broke up, but that project had been her live for the past 12 years, she was more hurt than she showed.
"But didn't we share this passion carved into our hearts?" - The passion of music, the passion of After Forever.
"I've lost the magic we shared" - After Forever's energy ended, and their "magic" as well.
"Breaking the chain that's holding you back" - Her past memories to After Forever.

The chorus itself gives the same idea of After Forever's lost.

ReVamp – All Goodbyes Are Said Lyrics 15 years ago
The meaning of this song is self-explanatory by the booklet. There are two characters, a patient, suffering from a very serious illness, makes him/her undergo in a deep agony. On the other side, there's the patient's mother. While the patient wants to let go, so that the pain will end, his/her mother can't afford the idea to lose him/her. However, she ends up accepting the idea, for the good of her son/daughter, than he/she needs to let go, to find peace in his/her death.

Tarja Turunen – Enough Lyrics 15 years ago
I pretty much agree with everything that was said here. I believe this is a song about Tuomas, the response to "Bye Bye Beautiful."
It might have come late because Tarja might be keeping her anger and her feelings, I don't know.

Toys and dolls renforces the idea that Tuomas himself gives, by discribing himself as Boy in numberless Nightwish songs.

The "mirror of perversion" remembers me of Tuomas' old lyrics, which were very pervert.

A great suprise, if she is the author of these lyrics! Much more poetic than "Bye Bye Beautiful"! :D

After Forever – Cry with a Smile Lyrics 15 years ago
According to an interview to Floor herself, she wrote this after her dog died, when he/she was 15 years old (lived a long time).
I felt precisely the same thing when my dog died, just about a month ago. The sadness of having lost that member of my family, but happy because all the memories that he left behind where marvelous.
I suppose that's what the lyrics mean.
