Huh, that's strange. The lyrics (the lines starting with a capital letter) are really easy to hear for me, even before reading what they were supposed to be. The other lines are a bit harder to understand though. It becomes a bit easier to understand around 2:40 (the higher pitched stuff in the background) for those who can't make it out. |

It's sort of difficult for me to get much out of the New Terrain lyrics yet, but I do see parallels between the songs (other than the obvious 'they're the same song!' thing) and it sort of seems like they're meant to be played back to back (out of context with the rest of the album of course). I like how New Terrain sets the stage with cautious, self-conscious optimism and then morphs into the disappointing defeat of Nervous. |
