Personally i think the song is about a person trying to help a drug addict but fails... Someone begging for help but everyone is "crowning him hopeless" Through out the song it talks about good intentions, your obsession and all that you can is turning you red. Obviously someone is trying to help with he or she's obsessions but turns red with anger because they cant help. Then it goes to talk about the article read living wasteland, shooting up again but this time it ending with blinding the face with beauty paste aka a funeral. Limbs ties skin tight, aka in a coffin. But wat mainly gives it away is self inflicted his perdition. Self inflicted obviously means did it to him self but perdition means loss of the soul or eternal damnation. How i took it was a drug addict begging for help wanting to get out of the hole they dug themself and feeling like no one hears them. Some one trying to help but its not enough. Addict shooting up again and ends up losing their life. Sad song but amazing with great drums. |
