Not really that obvious really. Seeing as it could mean what one perceives it to mean. Everything from Lewis seems to have a duality to it. Mixing what you could perceive as harmless and loving to sadistic and evil. Which, is why I love The Toadies. |

I'm not going to say you are wrong. Just for the mere fact that what you say is right on some level but that doesn't really mean that everyone else is wrong/dumb. I'm agreeing with you because how you stated is how I came to be the way I was. (Going into a state of not existing by just merely living with no purpose really.) So, in the end you nailed it pretty well I'd have to say. However, that doesn't mean everyone else will see your nail as their nail. |

I'm not going to go as deep into this as one would by diving into each word or verse and such. When I read this and listen to this song I get the feeling of what I had and still have partly. It is this feeling of just existing but not really existing. (Speaking out at the same time / positive and negative / breathing in what I breathe out.) It all sounds like it is canceling out whatever you might be. You exist in an ever disappearing state. No feelings exist in a person who doesn't exist. No desires exist in a husk of a person who has been cancelled out. This is what I feel from this song. This is what I decided to speak about. It might not be the greatest interpretation but it will do for a person such as me. Hope that someone gets something from what I have said. |
