The way i see this song is like a crowd of people in a bar or club and there's one girl that's got everyones attention and is most likely wasted, and a guy that's more mature than everyone there. So he decides to hit on this girl and possibly have a one night stand "that leaves me one more night, can i take you home" Once they get to her apartment though nothing happens because he falls for her and doesn't want to ruin things."I am reminded why i dont do this I fall in love far too quickly" but then everything fell through and nothing lasted, possibly because she may have only been wanting to hook up and was dissapointed. |

everytime i hear this song i automatically break into tears i think that this song tells the story of a girl who's parents are fighting at her expense she turns to sex because that's the only way she knows to find a feeling of love because her parents are too caught up in them selves and she feels neglected eventually it's just to much for her and the only way for her to escape is through suicide but since she's religious she worries about getting into heaven i.e. "but for now, she will pray for some wings" when it says that her parents were only worried about her car it only strengthens the reasoning for her decision I think that this song definitely sends a message to the world that you should reach out to help people that are suffering and parents should never neglect their children because feelings of neglect can tear someone apart so easily and so quickly |
