Eminem – Going Through Changes Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is speaking about multiple things.

One of the bigger meanings of the song is Eminem almost dying. In an interview Eminem speaks about almost dying because he had overdoesed on a specific prescription pill. After going through that whole ordeal he decided it was time to make a change, get clean and return to the rap game and become a better father for his daughters. And become a better person. That's why he says he's going through changes.

This song is not dissing Jay-z. Eminem and Jay-z have a "Renegade" concert tour together both in the Yankee Stadium and in Detroit. How can they be feuding. They did the launch of DJ Hero together!

Secondly, Eminem cites Jay-z as a rapper that he looked up to, upon excepting an award in 2002, Eminem read off a list of rappers that he inspired...Jay-z was one of them.

Thirdly, on the "A Star Is Born" track, Jay-z was praising Eminem. He was paying homage to Eminem. Jay-z said "The White boy blossomed after Dre endoresed him", this in no way was a diss. In other Jay is basically saying that that the "white boy" meaning Eminem, was finally being looked at as a credible rapper after Dre said he was. AND Jay-z admitted to the fact that yes, Eminem's verse on Renegade was great, better than his!

Fourthly, Eminem was basically speaking about how he seduced the rap game. When Eminem said he's not going to sit back and just rhyme one syllable, he was talking about how HE RHYMES. Eminem has made many references to how he uses "compound rhyming" in his songs. In his track "Yellow Brick Road" on his "Encore" album he said that he rhymed "birthday" with "first place". In other words he saying he's not your typical rapper.

Eminem saying "You Better get a clue" is to vague to even be connecting with the fact that it has something to do with DJ Clue.

When he said Obama took the bomb from his name, really had NOTHING to do with the fact tht Jay hung out with Obama. He's saying that, as an artist Eminem used to be protested against because he words were so called "vulgar". Now Obama is the one that people protest against because of this and that. So that's why he said that "Obama took the bomb from my name". No longer are people focused on what Eminem says (because we embrace him more) but now they are focused on what Obama says and scrutinizing every word.

And Please, Eminem is not referencing Dame Dash. Why would Eminem take Dame Dash? Jay-z don't even want Dame Dash, he wound't be crying if Eminem took away Dame.

Lastly, Eminem and Jay-z are known friends at the end of the day, that's why they're doing this Renegade concert. And Eminem is talking about he seduced the rap game. augghhh, (my hand hurts from typing so much. You made me write an essay lol)

When Eminem said this line: "Dick's too short a word for my dick
Get off my antidisestablishmentarianism" I thought to myself, why do all these other rappers exist!! lol.

Didn't really like the intro to this song, but his lyrics and punchlines made up for it.
Eminem is crazy. One of the best.

Let's just say that Eminem killed Drake's beat. I don't even listen to "Over" anymore because Eminem just murdered it.

A lot of people didn't understand this line:

"hoes I hope all you rott
2 bottles of lubriderm and a box of condoms is that all you brought
and you wanna menage a trois you twats" It basically means that these hoes want a threesome yet they only brought Lubriderm and a box of condems.

Eminem – Talkin' 2 Myself Lyrics 15 years ago
Eminem never fails to reveal what he's going through or what he has gone through in his songs. I really respect him for that.

When Eminem talked about almost making a diss record against Kanye and Lil Wayne, because he was envious of the attention they were getting, but didn't because he knew he would get his ass handed to him IS A LIE on his part. lol. COME ON. Eminem discredits himself a little too much. Kanye's lyrics don't even come close to Eminem's. And Lil Wayne is nothing but a punchline rapper....Just saying.

Eminem never fell from the game in my opinion. He has always been respected. And his BOTH his album sales reflect that.

Eminem once again HANDS DOWN, kills another artist on their own song!

Just think if Eminem listened to all the discouraging words from these people he would've never been here today. So glad he had movitvation and didn't procrasinate.

Because we would've missed out on one of the greatest rappers ever!!

Jay-Z – D' Evils Lyrics 15 years ago
This song has nothing to do with The Illuminati, being a free mason, worshipping the devil, or any of the other foul things you people try to accuse Jay-z of being.

First off the song is entitled D'Evils. The apostrophe makes it clear that it's not pronounced The Devil but "The Evils". The evils of greed and corruption!!! Like the commenter said abvove me he uses "The Illuminati" as a metaphor. You have to dig deeper into his lyrics to find what he's really talking about. Basically the song is talking about how he would get his money any means possible. He's trying to live life lavishly not just on a paycheck. As the "Illuminati" so calls takes over your mind or body he uses that as a metaphor for saying that GREED takes over his mind and body.

Lastly, Jay-z is not a devil worshipper or apart of the Illuminati, or a free mason. He has said many times that he believes there is a God, but doesn't believe in religion.

In a track entitled "Free Mason" with Rick Ross Jay-z finally sets the record straight...
He says: "I said I was amazin not a mason."
"This is God engineering, this is a Hail Mary pass y'all interfering!" "If ya'll niggas fear me, then just say y'all fear me, fuck all these fairytales"
