this song is more an ode to love which one yearns for all his life but can never get... so he mourns in his memories.... that's all one can do... he knows the memories will eventually fade away so will his lover's face... he wants to run away from it all... the pain,the suffering... he is reminded of his lost love every minute,which in turn sucks his life out... all he wishes then is to run away from it all.... hence the imagery... for then,all he could do is be in misery...living in his memories... A love that was not meant to be. a very pretty song though... :) |
