This song is about him being a passenger in the car, and wanting the driver to go faster to get another dose of heroin. And he doesn't care if anyone sees, because he's so addicted that he just wants the drugs. And of course heroin is a super opium drug, so it makes everything feel better, like the seats and the knobs in the car. |

I may be a little late to this, but BTBAM is most definitely Progressive Metalcore, and always have been. And, Tommy isn't singing in this song, at least not the lead part, their lead guitarist Paul is singing. |

To me, this song is about waiting for an old good friend (who has changed for the worst) to change back the way they were, or to at least turn into someone acceptable. "Obsession. Obsessive. Obsessed. Abscessed." explains what the person is turning into, which leads Tommy to "Rip out my fucking eyes. I can't watch you grow into this.", which is self explanatory, he can't watch his good friend turn into something they're not. "It's a must these days, for the colors are fading", means like, now-a-days it seems like everyone is changing for the worst (colors are fading). "I'll just keep waiting." Tommy just waiting for the friend to change for the better. Obviously, this is MY interpretation, since Tommy has already explained what the true meaning is. |
