| I realized the same exact thing like two days ago. Hahaha. | |

| Oh, also the part at the end with the incoherent mumbling I can make out "sub particle entanglement" as the first two words. | |

| Just saw them last night in LA. Judah explained that this song is about having a spirit animal and being reborn as it in the next life. | |

I thought it was "I can see a point where all our futures meet; where we are going, and every place we've been" That seems to make a tad more sense. Anyways, I get the image of some sort of omniscient being. A sort of "eye" that can see and knows everything. Where you're going. Where you've been. It can see into the future, and where your destiny intertwines with others'. "I could be a soldier, I could be a humanoid; I could be an ion far away from home." Seems like he's describing himself as something we'll never know. He could be something as simple as a human or something as foreign as a galaxy or cosmic dust. Or perhaps he's stating that he could be any of those if he wants and can shape shift accordingly, he just has that power. "I wanna feel you closer to me; I wanna hold you in my arms; I want to be a part of everything, I want to be a part" Rather than a romantic kind of thing I get more-so the idea of a god or a higher being that wants to be closer to its children; its creations. It wants to be able to hold them in its arms. It wants that control over everything and the involvement in the world's destiny. And that is the end of my pretentious over analysis. Lol. Sorry! :) |

| Yup, I agree about the Scientology thing. That's the first thought that came to my mind when he said "and when you try to leave it's much too late; cause we've got you on our fucking list". | |
| Fanfarlo – Harold T. Wilkins, or How To Wait For A Very Long Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
It's about the British historian Harold T. Wilkins, satirizing his fascination with flying saucers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_T._Wilkins "You've been packing your bags for the tenth time You've been up on the roof again And you're biding your time but it's all right; they're coming any week now Left behind by the mothership; they're our only real friends" Saying that he's been packing his bags, and waiting on the roof for the mothership to come take him away. "In a town where everyone will kick and scream And come to the same conclusion every time Time to realize you were never on the team" Refers to the fact that he is regarded as crazy by the rest of the population, and that he never played on the "sane" team. |
