Read the toms interpretation, it makes sense in a different light. However if your looking at it from a realists/perverts perspective you may be on the right track. Looking at it from your perspective, I personally think this is about some chick going down on a dude xD "I watch you tasting, I see your face and I know I'm alive" that's her tasting the dudes manhood and making him know he can feel, that he still has it lol "you're shooting stars from the barrel of your eyes, and it drives me crazy just drives me wild" looking down as she looks up at him, if she's got big eyes I would feel the same way lol deftones songs have always been a little risqué :p |

I've read most of your posts, they make a lot of sense if you're looking at the perspective of a person on a drug known as DMT. You're ideas are brilliant and can be backed up by the fact that chino said that this album was supposed to give a feeling of fantasy rather than the usual lyrics he writes ( which are always about problems in ones life). Now the reason I say that DMT may have been involved in the production of this album is backed up by your idea that this collective conciousness is what gonverns our world. If you haven't already, research the effects of the drug, listen to some experiences from users of the substances ( some even being Joe Rogan and Jim carrey oh and Alex gray). Most of the stories will lead to the same end, that every trip has led them to see other worldly beings, and of course, a white owl (on the cover of diamond eyes and in the music video). In all, good job in coming up with a meaning that brought the perspective of someone in a different consciousness, beautiful indeed :D |
