so yeah first of all this album is some of their best work, and this song is a total eargasm. second, in the second it's "*DON'T bite the hand that feeds" not "TO bite the hand that feeds" the maine fuckin rocked my world the four times i have seen them live. damn, why can't other bands be this good :] |

so i went to a private catholic school my whole life (preschool all through highschool) and my family went to church every sunday. i believe in God and love Him dearly but growing up i feel that..idk how to describe it, almost like i was too lazy to the point i hated going to church and was always happy when we had to miss, and i kind of took faith for granted. like, i see all these stories and such about people who led hideous lives and then found the lord, and i was always so jealous that -I- never felt so strongly about God or my faith. i took everything for granted and i feel that i've lived my life making good decisions thusfar for my parents and friends and peers, not for myself. i'm in college now but things are getting better. im glad i discovered this band, bryce's love for his faith is just so beautiful and inspiring to me <3 especially this song so thanks, rocket, for helping me, even if it seems like a small thing its made a difference |

just pointing out, it's "Noughts** and crosses" not "Knots and crosses" i mean theyre pronounced the same but, ya know :) noughts and crosses like symbolize exact opposites in my opinion also, noughts and crosses are known as another term for x's and o's like as in tic tac to :) i love the way sierra's voice sounds when she sings "i cant stop twisting around this storyline" its so pretty, hearing her voice always makes me jealous cuz i cant sing ;P lol |

agreed with foundthevelvetsun and skaterhottie, i see it as, the guy dumped her even though at the time she thought they had something really special. through out the whole song, she's convincing herself she doesnt need him and acting like he's the one that's gonna be in pain when he realizes he lost her for good, but in reality, she wants him, she's miserable and he's gotten over it already...she doesnt want to accept the fact thats theyre over and he's already moved on very relatable song, and the best demo/early song-thing by far :) also, idk r we allowed to post links to other sites on here? for those of you that want this and other songs, i go to video2mp3 dot net it takes the audio from youtube videos and its free and all although for the record, i usually dont steal from bands, but ive used this site to get this song and a few out of print all time low songs :) |
