I'm a Naturalist.. and Atheism is pretty close in relation, the only real difference is a couple of distinctions as to the belief system. Atheism is simply not believing in a deity of any sorts.. Naturalism is believing all things that are possible can be proven scientifically and are able to happen naturally. So being that no proof of any deity can be reached through science, all Naturalists have Atheistic beliefs. Calling Graffin an Atheist really isn't "wrong".. it just isn't specific and 100% correct. |

I guess I have to go ahead and treat the situation as if you're the former.. though I am hoping that's not the case, because that comment was just amazingly uninformed and unintelligent in multiple aspects. 1. Um, no. Did you not read the post that you replied to? He is not telling us to believe in the "false history" that you're so mindlessly ranting on about. 2. "Indoctrinated" means to be taught from a particular point of view. Do you actually understand what you're saying? Everything you just said is presenting your (however misguided) point of view on the song. YOU'RE INDOCTRINATING. Not only is that obviously hypocritical, but then you go on to call Graffin and the rest of BR hypocritical because "they are guilty of the same things they accuse others of". Did you not think before you posted? 3. You should also learn more about capitalism. (And grammar.) All successful bands make money.. it's why they're able to be successful and continue to produce music that actually gets heard. Bad Religion are (not is) one of the most honest and intelligent bands to ever walk this planet. 4. I can't understand what the hell you're trying to say in that last sentence. "They use the down trodden as a tool and really care less about them."? So they use oppression as a tool to care less about hypocrites? I'm sure if I knew what you meant I could give you another example of your naivety but unfortunately it was worded too poorly. Oh, and you "dipise" the band. Great. Moron. |
