I think this song is an experience of heartbreak. Taking Nick Jonas or Liam out of it. I think this is about a girl who has been left by the boy she is in love with. She's had her heart ripped from her chest. She isn't angry with the boy, all she wants is for him to be happy, but deep inside she wrenches for him to want her back. She just wants him to say he "loves her more than he did before and he's sorry that its this way. hes coming home and if she asks him he will stay." It's really a heartbreaking desperation; She's trying to live without him, but she doesn't feel anything without him. "Well I try to live without you, the tears fall from my eyes. Im alone and I feel empty, God Im torn apart inside." She doesn't know where he is, but just hopes that he's thinking about her and she aches to feel any connection with him like she'd had before. I'm not really a fan of Miley, but I really do like this song. It's one of the songs that people can actually really relate to. |
