Oh god this song reminds me of a guy I liked so much. We talked all the time, he said he loved me. Ha, he was always high to. I listened to this song 24/7 and cried all the time. This song is like the story of our weird 7 month 'friendship' It is a little cheesy, but that's love. Love can be cheesy, and sweeet. And I craved it. ---------------------------------------------- She's talking about a friend she had, and she liked him so much, but she knew he didn't like her that way. And she just wishes they could at leaste try. I think/ |

I'm not sure what's it really about, it might be about drugs? But in my perspecrive it's like me. Going back to everything negative that I shouldn't do, and I know. I use to cut, and it was my fault, "no one else to blame" I wanted someone to hold me, when I cold and lonely. I wanted someone to wrap me up, and take me away from the world. I wanted someone to unfold me, and listen cause I needed it. "I am small, and needy. Warm me up, and breathe me." Then when I find something decent, I end up going back to the negative, I lost myself again, I gave another stranger trust, and then they break me down, where I feel usafe, strip me down to bare minimum, and I feel so fragile. I needed a friend, someone true. But I always picked druggies, and untrustworthy people. They'd turn their backs on me. I cry everytime I hear this song. Cause when I listen to it it's like I'm screaming for help, and no one seems to hear me? |

Oh god. Yeah now I know why I liked this song! I just remembered. Man, I was basically going through a heart break. And I go to youtube, right? And I type in 'sad songs' or something like that. And Nicest Thing, by Kate Nash came on, listened to it, cried. And then there was Raindrops, by Regina Spektor. I never heard it. And I listend.. Cried ha. I was so sad. Cause I was like "Yeah, I belong arm in arm with you baby" It's not a love song :( It's a sad song. NOW I REMEMBER WHY I LIKED THIS SONG.. God :lll |

Nah she doesn't sing fast in this song. I can keep up with what's she's saying. She sings kind of fast in Laughing with. But I loooove this song. When she says "In a town that's cold & gray" Reminds me of Washington state, with the rain. The piano in the song is absolutely bautiful. At the begining, the lyrics remind me of kindergarden crushes. Looove (: Ahwee. |

I don't know maybe I'm wrong. But I think she's saying that like no one ever even thinks about God anymore. Not unless they get in a situation where they need. They need, and find hope in God. Or try to. Without a trgedy, God's a joke. No one really thinks twice about God. It's a joke. Oxymoronish. I love it. |
