I like this song! XD I think the meaning of this song: Friendship that begin to broke because they are fighting, but they try to understand their friends. They solve the problem with understanding their friends. And after the war (they were fighting), they start their friendship from the beginning. Well, i think so :P |

Hey, i thought the singer is The Velvet Underground! I think it's meaning is: "There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea" A man who has been lonely, and loneliness killing him. He wants to die by eating or drinking drugs, so he fill his loneliness with drugs. "You became the light on the dark side of me" But he find a woman who has been fill his loneliness. "Love remained a drug that's the high...." He fall in love with her, and her love fill his loneliness. He addicted with her love. "....and not the pill" Not drugs anymore who fill his loneliness and makes him addicted. "I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey" The woman is like a rose to him, and the meaning of grey is him or his loneliness. When she kissed her... "Ooh, the more I get of you the stranger it feels, yeah" Her kiss makes his heart beating, and it's strange for him.. Because, it looks like his heart used to beating because of drugs... "Now that your rose is in bloom" Her love growing in his heart "A light hits the gloom on the grey" Likes a magical ( a light).. It's filling and makes the feeling of drugs addiction (hits the gloom) is gone on his loneliness (on the grey) And the rest, i think the maning is the same as the lyrics.. Hehe... I feel funny writing all my toughts of this song.. But still, i think this song is romantic! :D |

I think it's about a man who has been alone.Beacuse the loneliness kill him, he wants to die with eating or drinking drugs. He becomes addicted to drug. Then, he find the woman who can fill his loneliness and makes he becomes crazy on her. And he know that woman has been her "drug". The rose is the woman. When he kissed her, he feel something strange in his heart I think it's like a story of drug survivor. And i think this song is romantic!! XD XD |
