The video is so weird,I think it reflects the lyrics in a way... Going from what Samiscool was saying (I totally agree :D ) The part with the mirror, I think Chibi is representing hermind, while the weird..Uh..Thing person represents her emotions and such. Like, her eyes are hollow, showing maybe her mind is hollow too, behind it? And the heart has the lock that Chibi tries to open, to open her own heart, but it makes it bleed - All the bad emotions locked up pouring out, maybe showing how damaged she is. And it doesn't pour from just the heart, it pours from everything, like everything poured the pain into her. Chibi's emotion says it all, that she never realized the damage the person had done and she's absolutely horrified at it all. Then the bandages holding them apart from each other...Her trying to lock it away again, like it was in the mirror in the first place, but she wants to know it more and pull away from the person damaging her - Maybe they represent that person, trying to keep her mind away from her damage-done emotions? Then it gets buried in the covers, and the emotion thing gets dragged away again. I dunno about the end, maybe the hands represent the person hurting her? She/he tries to muffle her mouth so she can't scream or reject him, then drags her down so that she can't fight back. I dunno, this is all just theory >.> Could be wrong but that's what I think about it. |

I don't know why, but every time I think of this song, I think of a girl who's been abused by society, treated as an outcast for brilliance and intelligence, etc. That kind of neglect can screw your mind up, though. Maybe "IT" is a voice inside her head, or possibly outside her head as a hallucination. Maybe she's gone crazy, but I see two possibilities from then on -- This idea is kinda dismal, maybe the craziness and constant fear of the put downs and isolation make her become afraid, to the point her only friend is this voice, to the point where she ends up killing herself or something - overdose? Anyway, she goes up to heaven or whatever, and she feels free of the pain and humiliation of being an outcast socially, flying up in the heavens happily. The other idea is that, she came up with a brilliant idea, an invention so grand that nobody could top it, like bread, the light bulb, the discovery of electricity, but her voice helped her do so. Anything, really. And it sends her so high that, she becomes famous and shows everyone she's "flying" above them in a way they couldn't -- that she was better than they could ever be, even if she hears a voice they don't. I like to think of this one more, because she doesn't die, and she wins in the end =) |

| Yeah people put on here their views, the idea of the site? There's no such thing as a "wrong view", that's just someone beating down someone else's thoughts. The good girl part is in the song itself anyway. | |
