to me, this song is about finding that someone who has given him/herself to you fully. finding that one person who has done and would do so much more for you. give you all. and now you have come to realisation. and you are asking telling this person you are as ready and as committed into giving this relationship everything. for Eclipse/Twilight fans, i think this song could possibly be actually from Edward's point of view. she has taken his hand, she added the plan (of being with him, changing to be like him, etc), and gave her heart to him, and he asked her to dance to his song/beliefs (like asking her to stay human for him bla bla bla etc). but now, he asked her to marry him, and she agrees on the condition he changes her. and so now, he knows, that from now on she will be forever with him with that vow. or it could also be from Bella's view, he gave her his heart, he added the plan (of being with her forever, but keeping her human bla bla bla), and he gave her his heart, and she asked him to dance with her (ie. to change her, dance to the same song now). i guess, you get my drift? either way, i think this is a great song. could be about death. at first, i thought if i heard this song if and when either of my parents die, i will break down. enjoy! |
