I really don't think it's about Alexa. The whole messing things up quote she said was from 2005- she said so herself- so doubt it has anything to do with that relationship. I think this song just reiterates what r u mine? said towards arielle. You know, you keep playing games with me and i didn't even mind at first because i'm so attracted to you type of thing. but at some point he thinks 'no,no' this can't keep going on you gotta be my girl because the uncertainty of not knowings driving me nuts. she's like magnet- he's so attracted to her, he wants anything he can grasp from her meanwhile she's just stringing him along like it's nothing. Just my opinion though(: the song is super sexy and i have zero doubts that this album is going to disappoint. its the f-cking arctic monkeys after all ;) |
