sara b wrote this song about her time at UCLA, when she was just another girl from a small town living in a big city. she felt lost, lonely, and didn't know how to find people who made her feel like herself. it's about her search for that. the personal connection of knowing exactly what she went through, coming to a huge school on your own, where you knew no one, gives this song so much more meaning to me. and finding it is something we all want, and that i'm incredibly glad i was able to find. |
