Chris Brown – I Can Transform Ya Lyrics 15 years ago
Rihanna don't need no transforming! Am I right? The song is about a cocky guy who's trying to put the moves on a girl who he thinks maybe isn't all that self-confident.

Schoolhouse Rock – Three Is a Magic Number Lyrics 15 years ago
The genius in this video was the use of particular sets of people or things that are so synonomous with the particular amount in that group.
There are always nine players in a set of baseball players. Any more or less is out of place.
There are always eights legs on an octopus. How could there be more or less?
There are always seven days in a week.
There are always six points when you score a touchdown.
There are always five players on a basketball team.
We all, almost unconsciously, recognize the relationship between the number and the item/group that symbolizes it

Schoolhouse Rock – The Good Eleven Lyrics 15 years ago
I sang some of this to my oldest son when he turned 11. "Good, good eleven. You never gave me any trouble 'til after nine." (He didn't appreciate the second line.) :)

Schoolhouse Rock – I Got Six Lyrics 15 years ago
I saw about 4 or 5 Schoolhouse Rock videos every Saturday morning when I was a kid. Now my kids have the DVD. I still chuckle when I hear, "...and the waiter said "Sit Down! Oh I makes a big difference how you spread it around" and also, "He had twelve wives. HE BETTER BE RICH !"

Schoolhouse Rock – Preamble Lyrics 15 years ago
My 8th grade class was supposed to memorize the Preamble, but the teacher soon found that everyone already knew it because we'd heard it in this song on Saturday mornings so many times.

The Zombies – She's Not There Lyrics 15 years ago
Here's a different way to interpret this song: He is singing the song to himself. The lyrics show the variety of emotions inside him. He really loved this woman, but she lied to him and then left him. He wants to remind himself of things that he loved about her and wishes they could go back to being in love with each other, but "she's not there", meaning that she's not in love like he is. The verses hint at shock, denial, pain, and guilt, which are all stages of the grieving process. He's heartbroken. He wants her, but has to forcefully tell himself that she has to be in love with him too, and she's not. "Please don't bother... She's not there."
