| Panic! at the Disco – Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off Lyrics

Well I guess this song can have those obvious meanings, but all Panic songs have personal meanings in them because Ryan writes the lyrics. The song is about a relationship Ryan had with a girl and she cheated on him. I guess he's saying thay he's better than thay guy she cheated on him with and he wants her to know that and that now she can't have him if she wants him back. |

I think it's kind of about the split. Ryan expresses his feelings through his lyrics, and no doubt him and Jon really aren't liking Brendon and Spencer right now. Especially after seeing that AP interview they did, where they kind of bashed Brendon and Spencer. "Some people never change, they just stay the same." Brendon and Spencer always had wanted to stick with the original music of Panic! At The Disco and Ryan and Jon didn't. They wanted to change. Apparently, that's pretty much the reason they broke up. The reference to a "she" in this song could just be Ryan's way of talking about Brendon and Spencer, so that the media doesn't get all up on them about it. And, "In matters of opinion, our rivals are insane." That's pretty much a key clue. Brendon and Spencer are their key rivals right now, I suppose, so don't you think? |
