I first became aware of the band when they appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2001 (011231 if my internet research is correct). I found that appearance on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1jCvbJAhCI I liked their performance and the song so much I went out the next day and bought every album I could find.
