| I agree with voyeurbambi. When I first heard the song, the "spiritual poison" line got me thinking about the juxtaposition of natural sexuality with cultural plasticity. In Western society we have non-natural hangups about sex and bodily functions from Judeo-Christian religious traditions ("Oh lord forgive me"), which Eastern cultures don't have. And, as mentioned above, condoms are synthetic (plastic), blocking natural occurrences related to sexual acts. A lot of women now have plastic breasts. I think it's about reconciling our "natural" bodily instincts with unnatural traditions and influences from society. | |
