such a motivating song. its too bad this isn't seen a lot lately. this song really takes the opinion that we shouldn't dwell and what the world is doing and we should just live for ourselves or we end up growing old and going down river. we need to go and don't stop. |

well clearly there is cocaine on a mirror in the bathroom. and the line (which is also the title) "into the mirror" is talking about using cocaine and plunging into a new world. this world isn't necessarily good. he has shame for what he's done but she doesn't. and she continues to pull him into the mirror. |

i think the song is about trying to escape something. the song conjures the images of a city. the line's "shadows within shadows they hide their dark self from the sun." these lines are kind of like saying that people hide their true dark natures by hiding in shadows created by the city buildings. when we try to escape from this world we find that we can't and it takes a toll on the mind. and the body. |
