Is it neccesarily about heroin? Kate Pierson was a lesbain in real life. I feel like Kate is not Candy, instead she is in love with the actual person, Candy, along with Iggy Pop. So they are both singing to this one girl who remains unidentified excepting her name. |

The poster of the lyrics made a lot of typos. But other than that the writer of the lyrics got the name and the date correct, but the Black Plague is way off. Michael Nostradamus was a medicine man in that year, but he did not treat the black plague. The Black plague occurred from 220-160 years before the date. |
