| While I do agree that Stellar Kart is a bit obvious when it comes to their lyrics (The one thing that slightly bugs me about them) their music is still amazing. Great to listen to when I'm feeling down and could use a hug. | |

Lately, I've begun to feel my faith in God slipping away, as I become more and more consumed by earthly cares and worries. I put my music on shuffle, and this song came on. To me, this song stands as a reminder that without my faith, my life is empty and broken. No matter what I have or don't have on this earth, in the end, death will take it all. But God, He is different from all the earthly things that consume my life. In Him, I have meaning. I have a purpose in His plan. Even if I don't understand who God is, I know that He will always be there. He loves me just as He loves everyone. I just realized that this has almost nothing to do with the song's meaning, but I feel like its impact on me was worth posting. Thank you God. |

Wow. This song is just epic. I'm a big Hawk Nelson fan, and this is one of their best. I'm going to agree with some previous commentators. This is sung from a Christian perspective. It's a Christian who is tired of being judged for his beliefs, but who knows that he cannot do anything to stop it. Christ said, "Take up your cross and follow me." We will suffer for what we believe. The world will hate us. We will never be safe. However, that doesn't mean that we take up the gun and fight back. Christ died so that we could live for love. Finally, no matter what happens to us, no matter if we're killed or beaten or tortured, we will always have God. And if God is for us, then who can be against us? |
