i totally agree. this song, to me, is meant to be ironic and cliche. he really has nothing to say, and instead, is filling his song up with cliches that other bands use (religion, emo-ness, desire for fame). this is what he means when he ends the song with "that's for other bands to do." overall, the whole album is about our generation being lost and unoriginal. we are unable to come up with anything to say, or contribute. |
