Hey all, don't post much, but love this song and just wanted say that the line is actually "I can't always erase your memory" instead of "I can't wait to erase your memory." Slight difference, kind of hard to tell but if you watch Gavin's lips in the music video it becomes quite clear. I think it's more poetic and it rolls off the tongue better to boot. Hey all, not sure if this has been said already since I didn't want to go through the excessively long list of replies, but the chorus isn't "the sharif don't like it," it says "Sharia don't like it" (Sharia basically meaning Islamic law). I get how someone got this wrong, but it is so much more prolific the right way. Personalizing the order that's caging the Rock! Or disco, whatever your jig is. |
