I agree with Yigamiester, it seems to me he's singing about how this girl is wonderful, and he wishes he could love her... But he "met his love before he was born" meaning he like guys, and there's nothing he can do about it.

Fist time I heard this song, it sounded like the narrator has a girlfriend [as in romantic girlfriend] who she is having a good relationship with, but then this guy comes along and she's attracted to him and she's scared to leave her girlfriend because they have a good relaysh but she's still attracted to the guy, and he's a monster because he's confusing her and that's painful. So basically it's about 'omg i'm in love with this person, but this other person is really hot i hate them for being so hot urgh' Just my take on it (:
