Maybe his former love is coming to visit him and he's basically asking for her forgiveness before she leaves (assuming "one last kiss" equals forgiveness.), but also understanding if she doesn't want to stay with him or remember him. |

I think maybe he's starting to accept that he's dying, and is making himself want to die so he doesn't have to deal with the pain. And also he wants to die simataneously with a loved one. |

I think he's still alive at this point, because you hear the beeping machine at the beginning. But he's thinking and or preparing for his funeral, "throw on the black dress." He's also thinking about how no one will really miss him, "I'll expect you won't cry". I think it's also saying he died young. I also thinks he hates being in the hospital, and wants to die at his home or with a loved one. |
