ok what i think is its a girl that pretends to be happy and starts taking drugs like in the line " The chemicals bring little vindication and white lines lace every vein" and she starts cutting herself from the lines "Bloodshed under the streetlight. And does it make you sick? Oh god we've got a bleeder here" bleeder means a cutter etc.. and shes bleeding to death probably from a streetlight? and the lines "Dead by first light. They can't wipe the blood from her eyes" means shes dead before morning and they can't save her in time but thats just my thoughts. plus this song is pretty amazing and this band has alot of "controversial" lyrics. listen to Romance is Dead from Killing with a smile. |
