Here's my interpretation of the song The first 3 verse is basically talking bout how he's trying to convince the girl that they don't have to be in a group of people or be known to everyone they could go away and just be by themselves. He's been playing the friendship and courting game. And he doesn't want to remain as another face. Verse 4 most probably a conversation telling the girl, "yeah yeah. i know u wanna talk to all them must be great yeah" Chorus Talks bout okay so they seem to hit it off really fast but Next verse is just a beautiful picture of being with the person you want to be. Cause I know no quicker way, dear To the shiny gates of hell Than a room full of handsome devils Comparing everything to everything else Laying together alone on the car looking at the stars. |
