Joy Division – Atmosphere Lyrics 14 years ago
Ian's suicide was fairly impulsive, since he was trying to work stuff out with his wife the day before.

To think this song is about suicide seems an odd conclusion to make. Clearly he had had suicidal thoughts before he actually did it, but if this song was written with the knowledge of his own suicide, which due to the impulsive nature of his suicide it wasn't, then it would also be presumptuous to think Atmosphere is how he would react.

Bob Dylan – Positively 4th Street Lyrics 15 years ago
Um, he did not inject false politics into the song. He gave us a totally legitimate example of someone acting more hurt than they really should be as an adult (and a legislator) in order to gain social capital.

Go pedal your paranoia elsewhere.

Edit: I am wrong, they posted the lyrics on their myspace. Let me hide in shame, now.

"and there's parts that you had stole"

I'm not 100% on this, but I think it might be "and there's parts that you extol," which makes more grammatical sense. Also, meaning-wise, he focuses on parts, how parts are separate but they aren't whole, there's part you have and parts you hide. If it's extol, then it could mean there's parts she extols and parts she may not know about, but the idea of one part being stolen could also make sense.
