Sounds pretty obvious. He's talking mainly about someone that is so annoying and condescending he's threatening to fuck him up. This person is bringing the worst of him ("never seen this side of me"). The chorus is about this person that is on the outside so condescending, but he can see him "coming undone" on the inside. He might think this person fears him because he's not afraid of him. Awesome song, by the way, I listen to it when I'm pissed, lol. |

I made an account just to comment on this. I'm pretty sure that the song is about drug abuse, but through the eyes of someone witnessing people ignore someone that needs help (rehab). Crouched over You were not there Living in fear But signs were not really that scarce Obvious tears But I will not Hide you through this I want you to help And please see The bleeding heart perched on my shirt Basically, he's acknowleging that no one is helping this guy, and the signs were obvious. He's also saying that he's not helping this guy until he can help himself, "I will not hide you through this/I want you to help, etc" The second verse is about the symptoms of withdrawal, obviously, and the guy's struggle to become sober/clean. "cold sweat, quivering lips." The chorus sounds like the singer is questioning if he should help the guy, or how he's going to go about it. The bridge at the was kind of confusing. "Heave the silver, hollow sliver" not really sure, but it could be a spoon or something used for drug use. That whole part is like an angry rant about the people that aren't listening, or refuse to listen. |
