wow, im pretty sure we are soul mates or at least musical ones up until today i thought i was a freak for saying i have ever single paramore song incluiding demos, intro outro, music videos; but now i know i am not alone. Your insight on the meaning behind this song is absolutly amazing and enlightening :) |

This was the song they elobartaed the title of the album they were slightly considering " i lost my friends cause they got brand new eyes" but figured it was too long and a bit too dark, for their recent sound so they spliced it up and settleed on Brand New Eyes |

Its funny you should mention that Alisyn because this song IS about god, Hayley was interviewed by a magazine and her response was it was a praise song paramore is my favourite band despite wether they are christian or not And if you actualy listen to the song when they play it in their Final Riot tour in Chicago, during the outro of the song hayley says "my heart its you... jesus" I fully respect your opinion and thats what i love about music, everyone has some sort of connection to it, and its a universal language and im sorry to disagree xoxfranksterxox, but if you look under the surface quite a few of their songs, have spiritual undertones, they even make reference to god in their live shows. The outro of this songs prooves that, this was the opening song for one of their concert, kinda praises good for life, and a good show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJc4zUUewCY .For example misery business is one of their biggest ones, let the flames begin, turn it off and playing god.... even the title of that song relates to god, but it must be kept in mind the arnt always singing about god, like any other human, different thigns occupy their minds at different times, and not EVERY song had christian reference |
