this is one of the best songs of all time, ever written, and the second best music video ever, next to tear you apart by she wants revenge, or is it these things, idk one of those songs, but this is an amazing song, the way it describs life and love. it is so awesome when ever i am down i listen to MCR and they bring me up.

I feel that most people only take this song at face value, i mean yes phone sex hahahahaha, but he is really talking about how once he started to think on his own, he realized how empty every one that were open to do tings like phone sex were, or the poeple he met on the internet, that he wasnt shure what he wanted to do because he was addict to the feeling of "manlyness" and power he got from having these empty people do, but all the time he realized that it was just making he like him all alone and desprate for any attention at all, he was just wanting people to notice him, at least that is the feel that i get, but most people over look that and just think about sex |

I feel like this is a story of a boy who falls in love with a girl but she is only intested in other people, so he tries to move on, he ends up marrying a girl he does not love so he resents everything that they do, (having a child in unmentichable ways) he always had loads of of self pitty, but when he is finnaly on his deathbead he looks back and relizes it might not have been the life he dreamed of having at 12 but it ended up being pretty amazing and didnt want it to end.

This is just a guess but my guess is that he picked he because she is an artist that has been preforming most of her life and doesnt care that much what other poeple think, (adding the better fashion sense because bjorks isnt that good) but it is a semi-coplement to his wife, say she does what she wants and feels is the best and doesnt give a damn what other people think. |
