i think its abviously about salvation, getting saved, ect. and dying to her flesh, the old sinner she was, and now being truely alive. and how she was spiritually dead before and her new life swalled up her heading toward deat and saved her. The moment we became alive death was waiting, chasing And all of us fell and kept breathing One day, today A sprit's alive, a body has died this is talkin about when you are saved the devil tries to steal you away from god, but they dont give up even when life gets hard and know god is the way. and dying to your flesh "bady has died spirits alive" so that sums up what i think its about :) |

first off, i would like to say i tought it said "soon the son's love is calling" instead of song of songs but that doesnt make much a difference. i think the song is about when you get saved, or just being in gods presence and realizing his love for you. "Can I tell you a story As we dance while the sun starts to bleed Song of songs, love is calling Daughter, wake up from your sleep" i also think that instead of SUN it should be SON, as in jesus the son of god bleeding on the cross. but i cant say which os correct, but i like son better ;) and "the gift of a new heart" is reffering to how when you are saved, you are wshed of all your sins and are a new person, therefore god gave you the gift of a new heart. also, she says "halleluja Yeshuah" and Yeshuah is jesus the original language at the time of his life, or jesus' REAL name i guess you could say. "Just look at what He's done How He's laying down His life Take this life" jesus gave his life for you on the cross, so now its a gift to you. a new life. that is what i think its about :) |

i think this is about having a friend that refuses to accept jesus. and when you try to sve them, the get mad at you and hate you. and you get mad at them or this but you still love them. i think the song is about having a friend that refuses to accept christ... the begining verse is talking about how she used to think the exact same and think christ couldnt do anything for her. the second verse yalks about how she realiazed jesus is the truth and the only way, hence "Open your eyes Like I opened mine" and how it keeps saying "the truth never set me free ill do it myself" is the excuse her friend keeps giving her for not accepting jesus, and her old excuse too. and the chorus, "You can't be too careful anymore When all that is waiting for you Won't come any closer You've got to reach out a little more" is saying god has done everything to show her, and if she just reaches a little she can rceive all gods love. that what it means to me anyways... |

| im pretty sure this song is about jesus, i dont see any way it couldnt be. it makes perfect sense. its a love song from jesus as he dies for you. and how we still refuse to beleive and accept him. really it makes perfect sense with all the lyrics. thats why i love this song :) | |
