Apres Moi, le deluge is what serial/spree killer Andrew Cunanan wrote in his yearbook...I would imagine the song either has something to do with him, or something to do with where the quote originally came from, Louis XV of France. The serial killer thing makes sense to me...weirdly, I learned about this from American Dad as Roger stated that Apres Moi, le deluge was what he wrote in his yearbook. |

Weird, I thought it was about Ted Bundy!! lol.....I have a fascination with the Crime Network and forensics and it sounds like the story of him, because of the line 'meteor rise from obscurity all it took was a killing spree - and the fact that he was a golden boy studying law, rubbing elbows with politicians, bright future, etc!! I suppost it works on a lot of levels this song but it will always be a Ted Bundy song to me as that is what i always think of when I hear it....i didn't realise it was written much later or didn't much think about it!! lol |
