Must admit, I'm not into the whole "Twilight" thing, but I do like the song. It describes my relationship with my girlfriend, long distance is not easy... So we try to meet halfway, and love each other. My interpretation of the "dimming light" and the "everything ends" lyrics is not so much a closure of the connection, but that only death (see DCFC's "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" for similar themes and imagery) can sever love's bonds. |
